In his early teens, Kirk decided to put aside the music lessons he’d been taking his “whole life” and follow a persistent tug toward visual arts. Illustrating the book “The Carpenter of Galilee and the Welcoming Door,” solidified his preference for painting scenes he envisions and feels strongly about.
